Jermaine Clarke, DO, MBA, is a board certified physician at North Texas Gastroenterology Associates PLLC, a gastroenterology and hepatology practice in Sherman and Anna, Texas.
Dr. Clarke graduated cum laude from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry. He earned his doctorate from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. As a medical student, Dr. Clarke was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi National Osteopathic Honorary Fraternity and served as the vice president. Additionally, Dr. Clarke obtained a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in healthcare administration while in medical school.
After completing medical school, Dr. Clarke completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine. During his postgraduate training, Dr. Clarke served as the chief intern, as well as the chief resident in the internal medicine program.
Dr. Clarke is board certified in both gastroenterology and internal medicine. His special areas of interest include colorectal cancer, gastroesophageal reflux disease, chronic liver disease, and inflammatory bowel disease.
As a member of North Texas Gastroenterology Associates PLLC, Dr. Clarke’s goal is to provide high-quality care while educating and empowering the communities he serves.
